This raw, natural honey was harvested in late summer mainly from forest wildflowers such as goldenrod, red clover and heather. It is not as sweet as other honeys, with a lingering tart finish. Please note that this honey has a strong, natural smell compared to lighter honeys.

We believe in offering the highest quality of raw, natural honey. Our honey is extracted from hives using traditional methods and we do not add any artificial ingredients during the collection and handling of the honey. This means that our honey is raw honey, which has all its beneficial components (enzymes, vitamins and anti-oxidants) intact, making it a healthy, natural sweetener. Raw honey crystallizes and this Wild Forest honey has crystallized, but remains soft and spreadable.

Rich mellow honey

I love the mellow earthiness of Baltic dark honeys. My absolute favourite is Buckwheat, but Raw Forest has the same qualities. I have given four stars because it does not have the same depth of flavour, but it is a very good alternative and especially good in herbal tea with ginger.

Excellent product

I have ordered several different honeys over the years and find each one a surprise in taste. The Wild Forest one is a dark rich honey without the intense sweetness or caramelly taste of others and has become my favourite so far. Wonderful clean, natural honey and miles above the usual shop products.
